As we enter the last week of our first month in business we’re delighted to announce another success. Jack Taliana has got what he calls his ‘dream job’ .

Jack said, “First Steps is a great company to get your career back on track. I’m happy to come back and mentor anyone else.”

We all wish Jack the best of luck in his new job.

 

Free tradesman for a day

First Steps are promoting their new not-for-profit company that gets 16-24 year old unemployed people back to week in the local community.

The young team will be in Bexleyheath and Dartford today wearing T-Shirts promoting “ A free tradesman for a day “ .

Steve Edwards, a First Steps mentor said “ the guys came up with the idea to help promote the company and get them known in the local community. We hope everyone has fun!”

 

First Steps presents at Volunteer AGM

Swanley VolunteersFirst Steps were invited to present this new concept at the annual general meeting of the Swanley Volunteer Centre. Neville Gaunt said “Despite the technical hitch (the PC presentation wouldn’t work), it was an exciting discussion and a great opportunity to talk with people who are already making a difference in the local community. We hope, with their help, we can do the same”.
